Rooms & rates
The hotel has eight double bedrooms and an annex. A limited number of guests provides closeness between guest and host, and personal service. We want to give our guests a hotel experience reflecting the local traditions. Therefore, the hotels eight guest rooms are traditionally decorated, with each its own character and a modern bathroom with a toilet and a shower. Breakfast is included in the room rates. All guest rooms in the hotel have wooden flooring and are therefore allergy-friendly. Pets are not allowed, except for service dogs. The rooms are located on the second floor, and the hotel does not have a lift.
Double

Deluxe Double
4 290 NOK/night
Capacity: 2 adults
King size bed (180 cm)
Upgrade to a larger room and a king size bed. There’s also a possibility of a baby cot.
Twin Room
2 490 NOK/night
Capacity: 2 adults
Two separate single beds (80 cm + 90 cm)
This room has an ensuite WC. We also provide a second private bathroom, with shower, down the corridor.
Junior Suite
4 590 NOK/night
Capacity: 3 adults
Queen size bed (160 cm)
Sofa bed (140 cm)
In the old days this room was called the Bridal Suite. This is therefore our largest room, with the possibility of a sofa bed and a baby cot.
Booking terms
Booking and payment
A reservation is considered binding once the guest has received written confirmation from Husum Hotel. All prices are quoted in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT. Payment is made upon check-out unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Cancellation Policy 1–3 Rooms
Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival.
For cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
Cancellation Policy 4–6 Rooms
Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
Cancellation Policy 7–8 Rooms / Full Hotel Buyout
Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 90 days prior to arrival.
For cancellations made less than 90 days prior to arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is available until 11:00 PM. Late arrivals must be arranged with the hotel in advance.
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.
Dining and Dietary Requirements
Dinner must be reserved in advance. Any allergies, dietary requirements or special requests must be communicated at the time of booking. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate individual needs but cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled. For group reservations, any allergies, dietary requirements or special requests must be communicated no later than 30 days prior to arrival.
Rooming List
For group reservations, a final rooming list, including the name and contact details of the group leader, must be submitted in writing no later than 30 days prior to arrival. Any subsequent changes must be communicated to Husum Hotel in writing.
Damage and Liability
Guests are expected to treat the hotel's property, facilities and furnishings with care. Guests may be held financially responsible for any documented damage they cause to hotel property, in accordance with applicable law. The hotel is not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, except where liability is required by applicable law.
Force Majeure
In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond the hotel's control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, road or tunnel closures, serious operational disruptions or government restrictions, the hotel may be prevented from fulfilling a reservation. In such circumstances, Husum Hotel reserves the right to modify or cancel reservations. The hotel will inform affected guests as soon as reasonably possible and make every effort to find a satisfactory solution.
Husum Hotel shall not be held liable for any additional costs, financial losses or other expenses arising from such events, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Privacy and Data Protection
Husum Hotel processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal information, such as names, contact details and reservation information, is used to manage bookings, provide accommodation services and comply with legal obligations. Personal data is only shared with relevant service providers when necessary and is not retained for longer than required for its intended purpose or by law.
